When Making Friends is Not So Easy: Learning how to make friends and keep them
Through the use of creative therapy (art, music, dramatics) combined with cognitive behavioral therapy, the group will focus on increasing self-confidence, learning and practicing how to show someone you would like to be friends, understanding the best ways to be a friend and ways to settle arguments with friends.
Who: Boys and Girls, Ages 8-11

Through the use of a creative therapy approach (art, music, and dramatics) combined with cognitive behavioral therapy, the girls will learn the power of self-worth, practice and gain knowledge on how to assert oneself in a variety of situations, challenge societal expectations, and increase their overall adaptive coping skills for everyday issues.
